“Ger Kitchen” equipment handed over to beneficiaries

Within the “Improving Local Dairy Processing through promoting women” (TCP/MON/3606) under the SECiM project, six small milk processing units with capacity of 500 liters per day, were handed over to rural women groups in six soums of Dornod, Khovd, Khuvsgul and Selenge aimags in April and May of 2018. The equipment is worth MNT 63 million and it is also known as “Ger Kitchen.”

The “Ger Kitchen” equipment compromises of a cream separator, a milk heating boiler, a stainless steel curd dryer, a butter churn, a milk analyzer, a PEE bag sealer, a cup sealer, a date printer, a stainless steel desk and milk cans. Mr. Mustapha Sinaceur, FAO Representative a.i in Mongolia, handed over the equipment to the beneficiaries and wished fruitful production to the women.
