Providing training and field consultations frequently to meat processors

The project is conducting trainings and providing technical consultation to the meat value chain stakeholders on meat cutting, sorting, meat packaging as well as in Good Manufacturing Practice & Good Hygienic Practice (GMP & GHP). For example, Representatives from meat processors, cafeteria and meat sales person attended training on "Meat cutting and sorting for food" Khovd aimag in March 2018. Forty-four participants represented the meat processors, middlemen and herders’ cooperatives attended two trainings organized in Darkhan-Uul.

The meat value chain consultant visited "Darkhan-Erdene Kombinat" LLC three times to provide professional consultations on construction design, detailed facility layout, technological flow and staff movement according to the hygienic requirements for meat processing facility.
