What is Value Chain

The agricultural value chain concept has been used since the beginning of the millennium, primarily by those working in agricultural development in developing countries. Although there is no universally accepted definition of the term, it normally refers to the whole range of goods and services necessary for an agricultural product to move from the farm to the final customer or consumer.

  • Identify potential value chain solutions, possible solutions, methodologies and methods to implement them
  • An overview of the value chain and baseline analysis and analysis
  • Establishing classroom and distance learning, creating an environment for exchange of good experiences, technologies, and information exchange
  • Improve communication and collaboration among local government organizations, professional associations, private sector and other sectors
